Hi, I'm Allyson Swanson! I am a 21-year-old college student, a bold Aries, and a passionate creator driven by a fiery spirit and a heart full of compassion. My life is a joyful mix of mindful movement, vintage aesthetics, and sweet treats. Whether I am flowing on a yoga mat, designing floral arrangements for a wedding, or perfecting a batch of French macarons, my ultimate goal is to bring beauty, joy, and unforgettable moments to the people around me.
Where the Baking Journey Began
My love for the kitchen is deeply rooted in family. Years ago, my mom found a way to unlock my sweet older sister Vicki’s strengths as a foodie navigating autism, launching an endeavor called "Cook with Me, Love Vicki." This project gave friends and family a beautiful glimpse into Vicki's world, which later expanded into a magical holiday tradition called "24 Days of Baking" every December. I was always right there, clamoring to be Vicki's loyal kitchen sidekick. Eventually, due to worsening health issues, Vicki wasn’t able to be the head pastry chef anymore. To keep her tradition going, I proudly took the reins and never let go. Baking became my voice, too—a deeply personal way to express myself, stay connected to my sister, and spread pure happiness to others.
A Parisian Dream & My Macaron Obsession
While my baking roots belong to my family tradition, a trip to Paris completely redefined my culinary path. I fell head-over-heels in love with the magic of French pastry, which inspired me to master the art of the delicate macaron. Today, creating perfectly shell-formed, aesthetically stunning macarons with unique flavor combinations is my ultimate specialty. I treat every batch like a work of art, merging classic French techniques with my own creative, colorful flair.
From the Runway to the Creative Canvas
My eye for detail and love for visual storytelling also shines through my career in front of the camera. I have been modeling since I was 13 years old, working in both commercial and editorial spaces. Over the years, I have had the incredible honor of walking the runway in New York and seeing my work published in national news sources. For me, modeling is another beautiful form of artistic expression, and I absolutely love the thrill of dressing up for every unique occasion and concept. The Vintage Soul & Host at Heart
When I am not modeling or covered in flour, you can usually find me hunting through local antique shops. I am a romantic for vintage vibes and soft colors, and I lovingly collect antique teacups, cake stands, candy dishes, and crystal candlesticks—many of which I am saving for my future wedding! This love for styling and aesthetics naturally drew me into the event world, where I now work assisting a local wedding planner and florist. I am a natural host who loves bringing family and friends together for beautifully curated gatherings.
Wanderlust & Thrilling Travel
My spirit of exploration reaches far beyond the kitchen and the studio. I have a major travel bug and a goal to fill my passport with stamps from around the globe. I am deeply passionate about experiencing other cultures, tasting authentic cuisines, and learning from the world. Closer to home, I cherish the classic American road trip, constantly exploring the country and making unforgettable memories out on the highway with my family.
Wellness, Adventure, and Everything In Between
To balance my love for baking, traveling, and studying for my business degree, I prioritize keeping my mind and body active. I am a regular at the gym, love the alignment of Pilates, and am currently turning my passion into a purpose by getting certified to teach yoga. I believe in a life of beautiful contrasts—so while I cherish quiet moments of painting, journaling, and scrapbooking, I am just as likely to be found out on the floor swing dancing or letting loose at axe throwing!
